Babylonstoren is situated in the heart of Franschhoek and at the base of the Simonsberg in the Franschhoek wine valley. This farm is a testament of timeless beauty and rich history. It is a historic Cape Dutch Farm, and it dates to 1962. Babylonstoren is known for its natural wonders, fine cuisine, and exquisite wines.
Babylonstoren has enchanting gardens that are set against the Simonsberg Du Toitskloof and Franschhoek mountains. The botanical diversity is the guiding force for every aspect of the Babylonstoren experience.
Guests have the opportunity to immerse themselves in various activities which include shopping, a guided garden tour, cellar explorations, and wine tasting to experience Babylonstorens exceptional wine. Tease your taste buds with a sensory immersion at the restaurant.
To avoid disappointment, please book at least 72 hours in advance to secure the necessary landing permissions at the estate.
The Helicopter Wine Safari will take you on an unforgettable journey. This includes a private flight to (approx 25mins) and from Babylonstoren (approx. 25mins), as well as a half-day experience to indulge in wine tasting and pairings, discover unique treasures in the shops, and relish a delectable lunch amidst the idyllic surroundings. Ground time is between 2-3 hours. The total experience will take between 3-4 hours.
Cape Town Helicopters reserves the right to return the helicopter to the base if operational needs arise.
Visitors can indulge in this extraordinary adventure at a rate of R20 000 per person.
